In 2003 Desert Commercial Builders, Inc. was founded with the intent of being the building contractor for developing parcels of land for another Nance family owned company.

It has since evolved into a “super sub”-contracting firm that performs many specialized subcontracting trades. The advantage of this concept is one company can self perform the major building aspects of a building structure. Through this concept we offer a 100% superior scheduling and management team, budget expertise, safe work practices, and flexibility to facilitate your project needs.

Combined with our shared overhead cost of our other companies including the joint venture use of our office, facilities, equipment, assets, and skilled field personnel we are able to offer our clients a one source contracting firm with experience, and reliability.

Desert Commercial Builders, Inc. is a division of Ed Nance Drywall, Inc. The assets and experience of Ed Nance Drywall, Inc. is a key aspect of Desert Commercial Builders, Inc. Ed Nance is still active in both companies holding the position of President. In 1983 at the age of 23 Ed Nance formed Ed Nance Drywall, Inc. This company has just recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.

These beginnings started with a 3500 hundred-dollar loan and a borrowed pick up truck. Today, Ed Nance Drywall, Inc. and Desert Commercial Builders, Inc. employs upwards of 75 employees depending on workload and is licensed in 3 states: Arizona, California, and Georgia with a pending licensing process in the state of Nevada.

After 24 years a second generation of Nance family members has moved into management positions of Desert Commercial Builders. One component that has not been lost however is the lessons of hard work, perseverance, and experience that have made Ed Nance Drywall, Inc. a success.
